Hey everyone… Captain Jolly (Roger) Morris here again. I just wanted to share with you all the fact that we have just about two full weeks of scallop season left for 2012.

One month left for Scallop Season 2012

Wow... I can't believe how good the scalloping has been this season! With all my recent charters we have limited-out quickly in the "gin clear waters" off of Ozello and Crystal River. The scallops thus far have been very large and so plentiful that after one or two dives on a spot my clients were easily filling the cooler with those tasty little treats.The swimming has been pretty easy as well, actually it's been more like floating for scallops!

My name is Captain Jolly (Roger Morris) and I am your licensed tour guide and airboat captain. I specialize in private tours on the Crystal River, Ozello Backwaters, Homosassa River and Withlacochee River.

I can accomodate up to (4) guests at a time on the custom "Jolly Roger" airboat. The boat has a bimini top for shading from the Florida sun and it is also equiped with a customized suspension system that provides the absolute smoothest ride while encountering the bumps and waves on our adventures.

I strive to provide my customers with the most unique and custom adventures as possible, but I do offer some standard trips and tours listed below:

Manatee Tours - Explore the Crystal River with me as we search for the endangered Florida Manatee. On this tour we will visit the worlds famous King Spring and Three Sisters Springs located on Kings Bay. For more details on this airboat adventure click here.

Sightseeing Tours - On this trip we will cruise around Kings Bay and investigate the fresh water springs that feed the beautiful Crystal River. From here we will travel to the mouth of the river and visit Shell Island where the river and Gulf of Mexico meet. Along the way we will visit the historic Crystal River Archaeological State Park. Island Tours - Cruise the amazing backwaters of Ozello and Crystal River Florida as we navigate the maze of mangrove and oyster bar islands. The highpoint of this adventure is a tour of the beautiful St. Martin Keys off of Ozello. Wild River Rides - This is my "Nature Lovers" trip. On this tour we travel from Crystal River to the Withlacochee via the "Jolly Roger" HUMMER with airboat in tow. Once we launch on the Withlacochee River it is like you are stepping back in time to "Old Florida"... much like it was when the Spanish came to this land centuries ago.
